KROFNE

Potrebno: 350 grama brašna, 3 žumanca, so, 1/6 litara mleka, 30 grama kvasca, jedna supena kašika šećera, jedna kašika ruma, 50 grama putera – ulјa ili svinjske masti.

Testo se dobro zamesi. Svi sastojci moraju biti topli, kao i daska za mešenje i oklagija. kad testo dobro naraste razviti ga na deblјinu prsta, pa seći tankom čašom ili modlom prečnika 5 do 10 centimetara. Krofne stavlјati u zagrejanu masnoću i pržiti dok ne porumene. Ulјe ili mast ne smeju da vriju, već da budu dobro zagrejani. Krofne se prže 3 do 4 minuta uz neprestano okretanje. Dok su još vruće posuti ih šećerom, prah šećerom i cimetom.

Ingredients needed: 350g of flour, 3 egg yolks, salt, 1/6l of milk, 30g of yeast, one table spoon of sugar, one tablespoon of rum, 50g of butter-oil or pork fat.

Knead the dough well. All of the ingredients have to be warm, as well as kneading board and rolling pin. When the dough has risen, stretch it with the rolling pin to the thickness of a finger, and then cut it with the glass or mold of the diameter of 5 to 10 centimeters. Put the donuts in the heated fat and fry them until golden brown. Fat or oil should not boil, but have to be heated well. Donuts should be fried for 3 to 4 minutes, with the continuous turning. Cover them with sugar, powder sugar and cinnamon, while they’re still hot.
